This is the first post on this site — which, fittingly, means it's mostly about the site itself.

I built this after reading The IndieWeb Is Punk Manifesto, which made a case I found hard to argue with: own your domain, own your words, and stop renting your identity from platforms that can change the rules — or disappear — whenever they want.

So here it is. A place for writing, for photos, for whatever else doesn't fit anywhere in particular. It'll probably stay a little rough around the edges, and that's fine — "weird is a feature," as the manifesto puts it.
